This is an interesting premise. I'm wondering if young women with a low libido are more likely to focus on emotional connection with others, which frankly, is more easily achieved with other women. (I say this as a heterosexual female). For a teenage girl to emotionally connect with a teenage boy, this takes a lot of time and a very mature young man.
