Judy Docca is 79. There's a lot of talk that if she wins, she'll resign within a year so a new person can be appointed. That means we'll end up with a board member not chosen by the voters. Also she used the word "retarded" in a school board meeting: https://bethesdamagazine.com/Bethesda-Beat/2017/School-Notes-Docca-Apologizes-for-Using-the-Word-Retarded-During-Public-Meeting/ I didn't vote for her.
She has the mental capacity of a child. But still she spent tons of money to put up giant billboards with her face on it and ‘Judy Docca for Schoolboard!’. Clearly being on the board is her personal hobby - it’s all about Judy getting her jollies and having something to do before she dies. Never mind the kids - their needs aren’t a factor here. If she is voted in again it will show just how pathetic and uninformed MoCo voters are.
wow.. you are really mean. I didn't vote for Docca but, there's no need for this kind of ugliness. If you think you can do better, by all means, run for BOE. Let's see how well you can do.
She has no business running!! If she was a decent person she wouldn’t be running much less paying to put giant posters of herself up everywhere. She does not deserve respect because of her own actions and arrogance.
That doesn't mean you have to be mean. You don't need to respect someone to not be mean. It's called being civil. I hope you teach your children better. And again, if she has no business running, then please run for BOE next time since you seem to know who has business running for BOE and who doesn't.
Once you put yourself in a political position you have to accept all that goes with it. I would have been happy if someone had paid to run anti Judy Docca ads, but alas no one did. If I had extra money I seriously would have paid for someone to tell it - meanly. My mother taught me to fight for something that’s right and not to accept something like this, thank you very much. Here’s a political ad for you - is this nicer do you think? https://bethesdamagazine.com/bethesda-beat/politics/acrimony-in-district-6-race-escalates-in-closing-days-following-late-attack-ad-from-trone/
