So your 3.5 year old used the word “nervous”and said all of this to you in the car ride?  Wow! Her communication ability is amazing?  What do you expect from a child that has never attended preschool and is only going for three hours?  You sound like that clinger mom as well which makes it that much worse.  Next time, let her know in the morning about what the expectations are and drop her off quickly.  She is going to cry no matter what.  I would also recommend a longer period of time.  She will be four soon and needs to know what a full day is like before Kindergarten.[/quote]
