I had places to go, people to see and I hated being obligated into having a weekly telephone call. That meant having to be in my dorm room at 5:00 every Sunday (or whatever) which was a pain. Texting and cellphones have made communicating with our kids so much easier.[/quote] This was true of me as well. I still feel like, for the most part, girls are way better at communicating. I have two boys myself, but I'm basing this off what my friends with daughters tell me and compared to my own.[/quote]
