I wanted to put in a plug for the golunteering - ds needed to increase his service learning hours and his best time to do it was over the weekends, which is when he is with his dad the most. They started spending one morning per weekend volunteering at an organization like NCCF or Wide Circle dealing with loading/unloading of donations, moving and putting together the furniture donations, furniture, etc and they really bonded over it and it was a great start to their weekend.
