People shove frozen preservative laden crap down there kids throats and then wonder why they get fat, have crappy taste in food and think veggies com from a tin can.
our family eats mostly fruit/veg/protein-very clean. I make everything. However, when 4-6 15 year old boys are over, plus another few 13 year olds and 10 year olds, you go by volume not quality. It is not unusual for us to have 6-8 kids at our home at a time. We are the house that always hosts. In the summer even more so bc we have a pool. All the food adds up and very rarely do other parents offer to buy something or the kids bring food along so the last thing I am concerned about is "preservative laden crap". I am more concerned that the kids are having fun and are not hungry. They tear through food at an astonishing rate. We often throw on chicken thighs, burgers and pizza on the grill too. I am guessing your kids have few friends or are toddlers. I am sure you will respond with how you put out buffets of food consisting of all the best organic produce and such and I will call BS.
