All these frozen food advise...YUCK!!! Not to mention the unhealthy factor of it. My kids friends come over all the time, and THEY LOVE that I make fresh, easy and quick dishes for them, nothing ever frozen. I am not American, and in our culture frozen/junk food is NOT customary.
I am all for fresh meals, but not after 9pm and unannounced.

Anonymous wrote:you could keep things like frozen gyoza, quiches, mini appetizer stuff from Trader Joe's on hand. Almonds (wasabi soy, yumm), cashews, honey roasted peanuts also stay good in the freezer a long time. I also keep those Laceys Chocolate Almond cookies in the freezer for unexpected guests, as well as chocolate chip cookie dough. This is assuming you don't just have chips and salsa in the house, which I always do.

Although, seriously, I know many teen girls who love those items as snacks.Anonymous wrote:People shove frozen preservative laden crap down there kids throats and then wonder why they get fat, have crappy taste in food and think veggies com from a tin can.

YUCK!! Sara Lee Pound Cake? Get a little more modern and get a few frozen treats from Trader Joe's.
