[/quote] I know it's commonly recommended on DCUM but this is really one of those things that a good relationship counselor can help you both work through. You really need to know where he stands on these issues if you're not on the same bandwagon as his mother. While I don't see an issue with him defying his family (except in certain circumstances), you two need to be on the same page if/when it comes time to have your own nuclear family. [/quote]
