NP. I don't live in DC, have really nothing to do with DC, and personally watching all this (because it is starting to make national media and so I recognized the name), I am wondering whether I want to spend travel dollars in DC. And I am not Jewish.[/quote]

PP here. Also I don't know the history here at all and I would need to read about all of this before I really made any set decision. All I am saying is my shallow and outsider perspective is that DC now has an openly anti-Semitic council member and that's the sort of thing I would want to think about as a visitor.[/quote]
....yes, and the Council is accepting of the fact that an openly anti-Semitic council member continues to serve. It's a disgrace.
