I think it is a bit ridiculous to think that BVR should never be placing a student in a P-8 school. BVR has always been clear that the goal is a good fit after 3rd. And if I am remembering correctly I believe when we were first touring BVR we were told that typically 85% get their 1st choice school. My percentage may be off but I’m pretty sure the percentage was not in the 90’s. In any event, I think the results are solid and a sign that BVR remains a strong school and that the Outplacement Director has a very good year despite the disruption in administration.

What I have observed during my time at BVR is that some people generally have a negative disposition and will always find a way to first see the half empty side of the glass. With 14 schools but the majority of the class staying on The Close, I would hazard to guess that the spread over the other 13 schools is probably 1-2 students at best at each of the other schools.
