I am a little surprised that my lists for K have not moved at all. I was expecting maybe a little backwards movement as PK3s might pull in older siblings, but even after all the Saturday events there is no change. Is that weird?
If it is helpful, we did get a call off the waitlist on Friday for SWS (we were #2 but I was still shocked to see it happen so quickly). We are #3 for K at Lee and it hasn't moved. I'm sure this is more typical. Good luck! I know the waiting is not easy.
Are you going to accept the spot at SWS?
Yes, we are, because my DC, as of the last few weeks, has an IEP and we are realizing that the other other school we are matched at doesn't have strong SPED programming, where SWS does. That said, we will be commuting in two opposite directions to two different schools (we were told our other 2 going into Pk3 have virtually no chance to get into SWS) so are not sure what we'll do if we do get into Lee, which is much closer for us.
Lee parent here. If your older kid gets into K the school will likely try very hard to get your PK3 twins in too. They try hard to keep siblings together.
