[/quote] Several posters here are just creepy, busybody parents with no social skills and a distorted value system who get a kick out of blaming DCPS's many shortcomings on hard-working students instead of on the adults who run the system. YES, Wilson isn't perfect. YES, I'm sure Wilson students could get a "far more rigorous" education if their parents had (or chose to spend) $45K a year on boarding school or private school. YES, there are many kids at Wilson who nonetheless work as hard as they can to make the best of an imperfect situation--which is absolutely all that anyone can ask of them--and who deserve nothing but congratulations for making it into some top schools.
