I'm the teacher from before. Two months ago, I told my principal that I was CONSIDERING leaving because I'm barely scraping by on my salary. I told him that it was a courtesy just in case I found something and they called for a recommendation. They've already interviewed a replacement for me and told her that she'd be starting next year. One of the central office folks who frequents our school also pulled me aside to say how shocked they were to hear that I'm leaving. I wish I hadn't said anything. [/quote]
