So if you are a teacher with a family you should reconsider teaching? Sorry not everyone can stay an hour every day, even some days. There are plenty of great teachers that teach bell to bell. Don't let Hollywood fool you that you have to put in insane hours to be a good teacher. 1.5 hours is enough for kids to learn in class. [b]Differentiate your lessons so you can help those that need it.[/b] When I see teachers staying 2 hours past each night I honestly think they are bad teachers, it doesn't need to be that difficult. I agree. Since when did leaving on time become a bad thing?

We have found that this happens in elementary school and lessens as students move through MS and HS. In our experience high school teachers provided very little, if any differentiation.[/quote]
