[/quote] So refriend him to appease his sadness. Then hide him an all of the family members from your feed. Then you don't have to see their daily rants. You'll only see things that they post on your wall or tag you in. If they post it on their own wall, you won't see it. When people who I've hid ask me if I saw X, I usually tell them that I only check FB a few times a day and my feed is so long that I only end up seeing a small fraction. So, unless I check it within an hour or so of when someone posted something, I often miss things.[/quote]
