But, they are not going to implode if they miss a recess here and there. I was a teacher and I tried to get my kids out for a short break in the afternoon. But, I taught in a place with a nasty climate and there were periods when we hardly were able to go outside. Indoor recess is not the same thing. Most classes have opportunities for little breaks throughout the day. Students get gym twice a week, they have art class, music, etc. [/quote]
