Bet your mom had no idea how much recess you had.
Sorry, you lose. I am a 3d generation focused parent. My mom and dad were involved, and so were my grandparents. I guess yours weren't. I guess that explains the many generations of college educated people in my family. The doctors and lawyers and teachers and engineers. Being blasé about your kid's school is NOT a mark of a good parent.
Adults get two breaks+lunch in a workday. But kids shouldn't get recess?

I have no idea how long their recess is. I guess I don't care, or at least I know that whatever it is, I'm not going to change it.
+1. I think one recess is enough. Kids can play at SACC before and after school. Why do they need more recess during the school day? I prefer that they learn at school and play outside of school.

Umm, congratulations, I guess![]()
Exactly. I cannot see why you brag about not knowing about your kids school. You probably also have no clue about the curriculum or the specials or the grading policy and yet when people complain, I bet you blindly defend your public school because to really look into what is going on is too much work. You are the parent that crappy teachers love.

Just play outside before and after school. Recess is such a waste of time and resources.
