I'm not sure that WoTP schools are the way to go for small class size.
My DCs class size at WOTP elementary has been 20-23. If your child needs smaller class size / school. Try for Key, Mann, Hyde, Murch, Eaton. If you were to luck out and get into any of those, you have a nice bath to Hardy Middle School which might be a good fit for middle school. Lafayette and Janney are really large schools.
You might also consider Ross. K is impossible OOB, but they do lose students in the upper grades as families move out of the boundary area. Ross feeds to SWW@FS for middle school, and that is definitely a small MS.
I do not know how Ross gets away with it - but their 4th and 5th grade classes are tiny. They should absolutely be required to take students up to a certain count (maybe 20?)
Yes--I was looking for a small class size for 5th grade for this year and would have loved Ross for my kid. But they didn't take any OOB 5th graders and only have 12 of them this year. Someone on a different thread said the principal doesn't like taking new kids who could bring down the test scores.
