This is not true at Lafayette. 5th grade hovers at 27-28. It is grade dependent, but most schools WOtP have large classes.

Try for Key, Mann, Hyde, Murch, Eaton. If you were to luck out and get into any of those, you have a nice bath to Hardy Middle School which might be a good fit for middle school.
Lafayette and Janney are really large schools.
You might also consider Ross. K is impossible OOB, but they do lose students in the upper grades as families move out of the boundary area. Ross feeds to SWW@FS for middle school, and that is definitely a small MS.
I do not know how Ross gets away with it - but their 4th and 5th grade classes are tiny. They should absolutely be required to take students up to a certain count (maybe 20?)

But does that mean their class sizes are bigger than other WOTP schools?
