We just did a FET for our third child. The embryo came from the only IVF cycle we did that produced our daughter two years ago plus a bunch of extras. We have an older DS as well. 17 weeks along currently. I will be honest and admit that we wouldn't have pursued it if we didn't have extra embryos that we just didn't have the heart to destroy. We also are very fortunate that we had a bunch of extras, and that insurance paid for everything including PGS. Otherwise, I would consider myself lucky at 44 with two healthy young children. But the embryos were there so here I am gestating the third.
wow, congrats! may i ask how many embyos you had left and how many came out normal?
We had 11 to start with. Put 2 in, and got a singleton DD. Then did PGS on the remaining 9, and 4 were normal.
