Nothing went to court because they were offered peanuts to protect a much larger policy I had. We didn't want them to get a dime, but it was pretty much out of our hands. The lawyers bounced it back and forth, said that's how  business works.  That was my 15, and more minutes of fame.  It certainly taught me about money grubbers.
