Ex did some pretty horrible stuff that affected all of us and caused the divorce. Three years later we have a cordial relationship and I'd be very sad if he died, and would feel for the extreme pain our children would experience. I don't wish him bad and know he's broken but deep inside is a good person. My children are 50% him so rejecting their father would mean rejecting half of who they are. I try to remember this and be grateful that we met one day, shared good moments and had our beautiful kids together. [/quote]
