The grade 2 Screening Pool has been set for Spring 2018 screening. The grade 2 Screening Pool will include students scoring a 132 composite score on the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) [b]and/or[/b] a 132 on the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT). I am hoping we get the CoGAT results by tomorrow, it will factor in to whether or not we include the WISC in the referral (I would prefer not to include it TBH), I understand why they hold off on releasing the scores, but honestly, I think it should be more standardized through out the county. I find it ridiculous that some schools released letters and results before the break, some haven't released anything at all as of yet (no in pool results or results at all), some schools send them by mail and some send them home via folder.

For a system that makes such a large deal out of these tests and results, it just seems silly not to have a more standardized system of release for the scores and I am surprised it hasn't been brought up (or a demand hasn't been made). I guess that most people just get through the process and then are ready to move on. [/quote]
