Truth is, most cops won't make a big deal over a slightly expired DL. A license taken away by the court or DMV is one thing but a week old expired one is a different story. If possible print out your DMV appointment and carry it with you while driving. Just look at how many cars are driving around with registration stickers over due. Typically we don't waste our time unless it's at least 2 months past the date.[/quote]
