They want to use their ill gotten gains on the better shopping and restaurants to be found in Bethesda.   And they need the PL because while they can manage to get cars, they don't like dealing with parking in downtown Bethesda.

Do you really think they will use the direct line to come to Bethesda to dine and shop?  Silver Spring has better dining and shopping in my opinion.  This area is a treasure trove to a blood thirsty gang...upper middle class and wealthy homes to invade and well to do people with zero street smarts to rob in the street or get caught in the crossfire.   And no, your white priveledge is not going to protect you.  Hispanics aren't the only victims.  It is all about access.

To MS13, a victim is a victim, no matter the color, as long as there is something to be gained.  Bethesda Chevy Chase crime stats will go way up, property values will go way down. The tax base will flee the high taxes and crime and move farther out.

So roll out the purple carpet, the change you all seek after years of resenting Bethesda's wealth is coming and the tax base will finally have had enough.  The irony is as the tax base dwindles, politicians are going to find it even hard to pay for their 6 billion dollar train.[/quote]
