More likely they believe that if their own people cannot move here, they will still be victims of these gangs in El Salvador, etc.   Therefore they support policies to reduce crime, but not policies to keep anyone from migrating here from those countries. [/quote]

It’s not working for everyone to all move to one place. These jerks are threatening to kill and maim [b]their relatives[/b] back home too. If they are doing it here you know they’re doing it x1000 back home.
It is a short sighted terrible policy to relocate large numbers of refugees from these areas, or any areas really, all in one place. 
These small time politicians from Montgomery county made a huge mistake and they aren’t even intelligent enough to own up to it and fix it. Not that I think they are capable of fixing it (not a chance). 
It has and will continue to cause much suffering.
