The paranoia about carbs. On what planet do you think a chicken breast puffed up from hormones (even without) is better for you than lentils? Or a sweet potato? Total upside down ridiculousness.
"Carbs" in the dieting world refer to bread, pastas, desserts, etc... People don't seem to understand that vegetables are healthy carbs and also a healthy source of protein. Oh well, more broccoli for me!
Atkins and "keto" don't permit most fruits, vegetables, and whole grains - they demonize all carbs and don't distinguish between a twinkie and an apple, which is asinine. And Paleo doesn't allow extremely nutritious grains like lentils. I can't believe how many people follow these stupid, unhealthy, unsustainable diet trends. And not only that, but they get rebranded! (Keto, formerly known as Atkins)
Where are you getting your information on Keto? Keto includes tons of healthy vegetables = avocados, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, etc. Limited amounts of the starchier vegetables, like tomatoes, beets, . . Perhaps your body processes starch just fine, mine does well with less starch.
Reading is fundamental. Perhaps your brain could use more carbohydrates to function better?
Perhaps losing some weight would make you less condescending?
Already lost 60lbs, and am a size 4! Lost it (and maintained for many years now) eating lots and lots and carbs. I'd say mostly carbs, to be honest. Potatoes, apples, beans, greens, grains, even some cookies now and then. You should try it! Maybe you'd be less cranky - and also have better brain function ;-)
