We got lucky with the weather. It was in the 60s and sunny every single day. We never wore anything heavier than windbreakers. That is typically their rainy season. Even the Greeks kept telling us how unusual that weather is. The hotels are wonderful and the culture is fantastic. Don't listen to the others who are saying it's a dump. It may not be for everyone, but do the research. Greece is a wonderful place to visit. And the food?? God, I still dream about some of the food I had there. You will want to go back.

It is a long trip though and might be tough with three kids for just a week. Spring/summer is the best time to visit Greece. Depends on your budget, where you're staying and what you want to do. If you want to ski, Greece is a terrific winter destination.
