I think it depends on where you live. Here in D.C., that's horseshit. But, it's also true that your pool of available men who aren't also "damaged goods" is also going to shrink.  At 35 you are going to be most attractive to men in their 40s, who will either be divorced or have ... damaged reasons for being available. Because most marriage-minded men are partnered up well before 40.
