However, it doesn't bother us that my mother is closed off. She has a very full and actibe life with friends and travel. My ILs are very very different, kind of blue collar, they have nothing in common so why push the unatural. I don't even think my inlaws have a passport, but my parents have a house a bit south of Florence Italy. Two polar opposites. My kids looove my inlaws. With them being more blue collar, holidays are super corny, tacky and a TON of fun. [/quote]
