Ohio University is less competitive than Miami but everyone I know who goes there loves it. The campus is also supposed to be beautiful. It's definitely on my dd's list (or should I say my list for dd to look at as she's only a sophomore, lol). She is also going to look at University of Dayton. I have no idea what the engineering programs are like at these schools but there are lots of nice schools in Ohio that are not super competitive but the kids are happy and end up with good jobs.[/quote]
