After a while, I used the on line to make sure the women did not have anything that would be unacceptable to me:  drug use, smoker, criminal record, crazy, religious zealot or republican.

I was going on a lot of first dates:  probably 2/week, about 30% led to second dates, and 2 of them led to seeing them for more than 1 month.  The second one of those, I have been seeing for 20+ years, and married for nearly 19 years.

I was usually optimistic about the dates:  the checklists were done before dating.
