Can I ask if this was a recent experience and, if so, did your dd play club field  hockey all the way through? My dd is a decent lacrosse player and wants to keep playing club.  However, she is really into field hockey too and asked if I thought she'd ever be able to get recruited in college. She's only going into 7th grade, so I realize everything could change by say, October. But, she is very athletic and seems pretty good at field hockey but hust doesn't have time for two travel teams. She will play FH at school this year for the first time. I am just wondering if she's missing an opportunity not playing field hockey for a club team. Do you have any thoughts about your DD's road to field hockey recruitment?[/quote][/quote]
