Yes I do. There are many nice people but so many people in Potomac never want there kids to suffer, lose, not make a team or be invited to the latest party. I see it all the time at sports and at school .

Really? I have friends in Olney and Silver Spring who act exactly the same towards their kids. The world is full of helicopter parents and [b]they don't just live in Potomac and Bethesda[/b]. That's why there have been so many articles and books written about it on a national level. [/quote]

That's true, but all the parents with serious money do live there. And they think that means their voices should be heard.

This thread is ridiculous anyway. A school is getting a new build. Hurrah! We have a temporary location where your kid can go to school while its happening - again, hurrah!
