Ugh.[/quote] The default speed limit in DC is 25 - in other words if you weren't on a freeway you should assume the speed limit is 25 unless you know otherwise. Some arterial roads have a 30 MPH speed limit. So what exactly are you going to contest or what is your grievance here? BTW if you had hit a pedestrian or cyclist at that speed you likely would have killed them. Pay the fine and pay attention to the speed limit next time.[/quote]
