OP here.  I like the lane switches. I am not saying they should be shut down.  I'm simply saying they should put overhead signs on the road so there is no mistake what lane is the turning lane at 5 pm. Well, there are only about 3 allowed during rush hour. Many of us live off of Conn. How would we get home without being able to turn?

The bigger issue is parking. They need to make no-parking until 7 ALL THE WAY UP, not just by the zoo/CP.[/quote]

At the intersection that I'm talking about it's quite easy to make a right turn and come back to the light to cross Connecticut Ave.  It is much safer that way.  I thought they did make it until 7 all they way up.  Maybe I heard wrong.[/quote]

Brandywine and Connecticut.  Although I've seen plenty of accidents at the Albemarle and Connecticut intersection as well. [/quote]
