There ARE.   There are 4 extra days on the calendar for inclement weather makeups.

Those days are Monday, June 12th - Thursday June 15th.

We know.  However, it is THREE WEEKS before the end of the school year.  For the last two years at least, in March, they announced the last day of school.  People have called the admin office as late as yesterday to confirm the end of the school year.  You know, to make plans.  They were told, as late as yesterday, that the last day of school was June 9th.

PP has it right - since the days are no longer built into the schedule, they need to announce what the make up day is going to be when school closures happen.[/quote]

Right.   The issue is late notice, not the fact that the school district is using 2 of its pre-announced makeup days.

I'm just pointing out that there are no built in makeup days.   Some people seem to think there are extra days already in the calendar.[/quote]
