Today they sent out a second notice, with a more thorough explanation. At least they realized that more explanation was needed. In the future, they should announce the makeup day when the school closure is announced, IMO. For example: Code Red; Schools closed. Makeup day will be Monday June 12th (unless waiver is granted) Also, there's NO reason to apply for a waiver when you have only missed 2 days of school and you have 4 identified as makeup days!!
