I had an amnio with Dr. Larsen at GW, and it was fine - no problems - so I guess I can say he's excellent.   But people need to understand that stats that doctors give are not necessarily 100% believable.  Numbers can be manipulated, or interpreted in a way to give them favor.  They are providing their OWN numbers - it's not like an independent board is providing numbers.

Anyway, OBs who have been doing the procedures for 20+ years at a reputable institution (e.g., GW) are probably all pretty good.  None of us really know - we just know that we liked the OB who did our amnio and we didn't m/c.  Am I wrong?
