Who is providing the care for that price?[/quote] That is incredible. We pay $235/mo at our JKLM for aftercare run by the PTA and staffed by teachers from the school. Enrichment programs (also PTA-sponsored) cost extra, but the aftercare fee is prorated to accommodate the days that your child is doing an enrichment class instead. Charter aftercare programs can be breathtakingly expensive. We turned down a PK3 spot at a charter last year for our youngest, in part because of the high cost of before/aftercare. When we factored that in, along with the loss of year-round access/day-to-day flexibility, the cost of continuing at our daycare didn't look so bad in comparison. [/quote]
