More importantly, re-growth of gray + brown looks silly given it's impossible to perfectly match the brown... so I was winding up with 4 colors: the highlights, color - and then at my roots, gray and brown.

Basically, I'm eager for 100% gray so I can just get blond highlights (or maybe I'll even leave some gray areas behind and mostly dye). I do have mostly gray in the front and with blond highlights I think it looks good.
