Are you insane?  Have you ever been in elementary school?  Teachers need to be able to sit down on the floor, move heavy things around (sometimes children), get marker and paint on their clothes, and on occasion, run.  A nice dress and dress pants would limit our ability to do our jobs.  Plus, you're on your feet all day, so comfortable shoes, not dress shoes, are a must.  Would you prefer teachers look nice, or do their jobs well?  We are not decorations.[/quote]
