But I would opt out of it and use something like quartzite tiles and mosaic, quartzite or neolith for counters. Marble tends to get 'rusty', which is not a real rust, but minerals coming to a surface. Around toilets it looks like pee. Besides, marble etches and stains terribly, almost every bathroom product (cleaners, toothpaste, hair dyes, shampoos) are offensive to it. Some people love worn in look, I personally can't stand it. And sealing it every so often is a pain. OP, gardenweb bathrooms forum has tons of wisdom. Before you start renovation read, read, read.
