While you fight over whether OP is a VA voter, let me assure you I am. And VA is gerrymandered. Otherwise, Barbara Comstock would not be representing me, a chunk of Western Fairfax and Loudoun, and then a huge swatch of red ROVA. Feel free to yell about MD-- and NC. Grew up in NC, and they may well win. But, In the meantime, I'd like the interests of the Dulles and silver line folks not to be lumped in with rural interests.
Has that boundary changed since Comstock won? Hasn't Loudon county and Western Fairfax traditionally voted Republican, up until mid-Obama?
The boundary has not changed since she won. The PP may be a new VA voter.
PP and good catch. Not a new VA voter, but moved from a safe democratic NOVA district to Comstock's since the last election. And am just disgusted with the way this district is drawn. It makes no sense to have the airport and silver line, plus a very educated and a heavily immigrant part of the Tech Corridor lumped in with parts of VA where people had six Trump signs in their yards. We have zero interest in common. And now she is ducking town halls. She respresents a bunch of government employees and contractors who are understandably upset. She needs to show up and deal with that.
