[/quote] They are going to want your home address, even if you give them an alternate address to use. I wouldn't risk this. Keep the money in cash and once you have escaped, use your new address and open the account then. Because you are still married, if you open an account now, even on your own, anything in it will be a marital asset. Easier to just keep it in cash--and if you can keep it at a friend's place, even better, so that he does not stumble upon the money and figure out what your plans are. [/quote]
