The main problem is super huge resorts that don't have a large enough pool area with enough chairs to satisfy its clients. A really good resort will be sized appropriately, that is they will have multiple large pools if they have hundreds of rooms. I also loathe chair savers. That said, I may want to save mine while I swim or take a short walk on the beach - don't want to be tied to it the whole time. I think 1 hour is about right to be completely absent from the chair but with the right to return. Going out at 6 am to reserve a deck chair is absurd and not relaxing. [/quote]
