We used Dahlgren for all 3. All are in AAP.
I have two children and based on the responses on those who've availed of Dahlgren's services, I would like an assessment done by her. I am little hesitant because I am unaware of what the price range of the tests might be? Could you give a ballpark amount on the $$? TIA
She charges $400 for the WISC. She charges $2,200 for pychoeducational testing - this includes a WISC test, and your insurance may cover part of it, but not the WISC part.
Be aware. She will not do a WISC without finding some convincing reason your kid needs her to do a full workup. It's how she earns a living outside of AAP testing season.
Bug deal...just like a time share sales pitch just be prepared to say no.
Easy to say no to a time sales pitch. Very hard to say no to someone telling tou that you child could have developmental or learning problems, and that if you don't diagnose and treat them all sorts of terrible things could happen. Much better just to not put yourself in that situation to being with.
