CogAT is not a cheap WISC. They don't compare, actually.[/quote] It is not a WISC score, but the general trend is that a FSIQ and the CogAT composite score DO track one another. They are usually within a few points of each other. To the poster who suggests asking for a GAI, the GAI is only significant if there is more than a 7 point spread between some of the sections. I personally would not submit a 121 at any time, even for appeal. It would only hinder the child UNLESS there is an underlying issue that explains the score (i.e. the score would have been higher but for the processing speed being so low.)[/quote]
