This was my understanding. After the superintendent proposed Crown as a holding school, Wootton parents on Nextdoor immediately jumped on the idea, citing how bad the building conditions were for Wootton. Crown parents protested about the idea of Crown becoming a holding school, since they've been promised a high school for awhile.

Option H felt like a compromise position to both camps; Wootton's building issues are solved and Crown neighborhood students go to their local school.

My cousins live in the Crown neighborhood and all they really care about is that their local students go to the school; they really don't care about whether or not Wootton goes there.[/quote]
