https://www.theashleysrealityroundup.com/2019/09/13/more-leaked-audio-teen-mom-og-star-amber-portwood-heard-yelling-at-andrew-glennon-about-not-wanting-son-james-threatening-to-stab-andrew-in-the-neck/ I mean. On the one hand, I can understand how hard it would be to realize your boyfriend is just the latest user who has been leeching off of your reality fame. And he's clearly baiting her for maximum psycho rampage. This audio is supposedly from last December - why was he secretly recording and why did he hold onto it until 9 months later. I don't see how MTV can continue to employ her after this. Poor James and Leah too.
This. He is no innocent. No one sits there egging someone on and is innocent. Your kid is there and the other parent is psycho? Pick the kid up and leave. Instead, knowing it is being recorded, he essentially narrates what is happening, "Ow, you hit me." (Who talks like that in a real conversation? It might be, "I can't believe you just hit me." or "ow!" but not the narration for the recording.) Then he would record things (you hit me in the car, you hit me at Leah's school, you hit Gary), all to get her to admit it. He is a low life and an instigator. I am NOT excusing what she said or did at all...but he is not a great parent either.
Yes you are. You just said he’s an instigator. Do you make the same comments to battered wives that argue with their husbands? No matter what Andrew has done, Amber’s behavior is inexcusable. Period.
It is inexcusable...but he has bad behavior also. There is no doubt about that. A good parent would have picked the kid up and walked out. A parent planning on using the scene as ammunition in the press or in court did what he did - stayed and recorded it. They aren't mutually exclusive - meaning you seem to think I am saying her behavior is excusable because of what he did. I am definitely not. I am saying they both have issues. Hers are more apparent to the world, but his are there.
When you live in a house where you get hit on a regular basis, you don't leave each time it happens. Could he have left with his kid - sure. Just like every abused woman could just walk out with their kids. They don't. For a reason.
